A famous eSports superstar of India from Kolkata playing #valorant once commented to me jocularly : Getting old, me, upcoming youngsters are breathing down upon us. Awarded the best eSports player of 2023 in Pune today, he is 25 yrs old. He is known in eSports circles as @Antidote.

RICE convocation

Yesterday, at the convocation at RICE, I referred to the film 12th Fail and said that even I had to “restart” once in UPSC when I didn’t make it in first attempt: I got into #ias on second attempt. I also mentioned that students may learn #ai and #carbonneutrality concepts because I thought these are two skills that will be useful in their careers.
